White Castle shares health inspection results on new website

For 95 years, White Castle has been a little different.
The Columbus-based burger chain continues to blaze its own path by rolling out a website that curates every health inspection for each of its more than 400 stores, whitecastleclean.com.
It is thought to be the first effort of its kind in the fast-food industry.
“I’ve never heard of that,” said John Gordon, a restaurant analyst and principal of Pacific Management Consulting Group. “They are probably doing it because they have a great record.”
White Castle believes it has nothing to hide, but if something is wrong at one of its restaurants, which are all company-owned, then customers should be able to find out.
